Driving a car in modern conditions carries a significant risk and great responsibility, especially in the event of damage to other people's property or people's health. While operating the car, you may accidentally damage other vehicles, buildings, road signs, or even harm the health of bystanders. To minimize the financial consequences of such situations, there is a policy of compulsory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners (OSGOVTS) for that purpose, which protects the driver from claims for damages from third parties.
The insured amount is established by the law in the equivalent of UZS 40 million, of which:
65% – to cover damage to life and health;
35% – to cover material damage.
